The truth

Most people (and some professional photographers today) simply see a world of subjects in front of them. They are blind to the depth-of-field equation — and never seeing this depth, they ignore its potential. This ignorance, unfortunately, is contagious. Years of apathy and ridiculous marketing hype has changed what it means to have a camera, to speak with light, to be an artist. This nonsense has to stop. If no one speaks out for creativity and individuality, if no one challenges the norm — then we will lose something special. You have to take a stand, learn what it takes to truly control all of your image and be the artist you know you can be.
