Thanks for joining us here on your Blog!
What a great class we had. I hope you're as excited about becoming a real In Focus photographer as I am about the prospect of teaching you to be one.
As I said ... things will get really tough before it gets better. Push hard and don't forget Robin and I are here when you need us. Ask your questions — don't be shy, you can also post images if you want and talk amongst yourselves.
Use this time wisely and get the most out of this class — it very well can change your life. Share a piece of yourself and I promise others will do the same. Learning to be an artist and expressing yourself is a lofty goal, don't lose site of it. And no matter what ... be proud of your progress and remember how well you did on that first night. Visualization is the hard part and you all had that down pat ... now, let's start working on the mechanics and get things rolling.
Remember this week just work on your shutter speeds ... keep that aperture large (small F number) and start guessing. In no time you'll be getting your images lit perfect. Trust me, experience is the best teacher ... let it happen. Fail, correct and fail again.
Every journey has a beginning and you've just taken yours.
NOTE: If you feel you need a little more help, check out the notes to the right or the modest beginners help link (look for the cartoon version of Robin and I). I think they'll help.
